Grab the leash and bring your four-legged best friend to Dog Days of Summer, a fun-filled Labor Day weekend afternoon for dogs and the people who love them!

We’re kicking things off with an Official Dog Days Opening Walk at 12:30 PM. Dogs and their humans are invited to meet at the Lake City Dog Park and walk together to Town Park for the official start of Dog Days at 1:00 PM.

Once you arrive, spend the afternoon enjoying all things DOG!

🐾 Doggy Fashion Show – Dress to impress and let your pup strut their stuff!

🎩 Best Trick Contest – Show us what your dog can do, whether it’s shake, spin, sing, play dead or something completely unexpected.

👑 Doggy Mayor of Lake City Election – Lake City needs a canine leader! Enter your dog as a candidate, make your case, campaign for votes and help us crown the 2026 Doggy Mayor of Lake City.

🏆 Dog Days Awards – We’ll be on the lookout for some of the biggest, smallest, prettiest, fluffiest and otherwise unforgettable dogs in the park.

✨ Best Dog Name Contest – Finally, the recognition you deserve for giving your dog an absolutely fantastic name.

🍪 Guess the Dog Treats – Take your best guess at how many treats are in the jar for a chance to win!

📸 Doggy Photo Booth – Stop by and capture a photo of your best friend.

🐶 Pup Cup Station – Because the dogs deserve snacks too!

✂️ Dog Nail Trimming – Give those paws a little attention while you’re here.

🛍️ Dog-Related Vendors – Browse dog goodies and connect with local pet-related businesses and resources.

🎶 Local Music – Relax in the park and enjoy live music throughout the afternoon.

🌮 Food Trucks – Come hungry! Three food trucks will be onsite, along with snacks and non-alcoholic drinks available from the Chamber.

And the fun doesn’t end when Dog Days wraps up!
